One of Schatco‘s products is a phenolic antioxidant called Aradox 1010 with a steric and colorless stabilizing barrier that can be used in polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene (PP), polybutene (PB) and olefin copolymers such as ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers. It can also be used to process polymers such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), styrene and copolymers, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polystyrene, polyamides and polyurethanes, polyesters, elastomers and synthetic adhesive resins and other organic substrates.
It protects organic layers such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, adhesives, waxes, oils and fats from oxidative thermal degradation and can be combined with other antioxidants
