An oxygen scavenger is a material that can combine with oxygen to remove oxygen in fluids and enclosed packagings. It is also known as oxygen absorber. Oxygen Scavenger react with dissolved oxygen and provide non corrosive compounds that are not solid materials and they evaporate.
Schatco experts designed DEOX-3220 and DEOX-3240 for removal of oxygen in water treatment industries.
DEOX-3220
This product is based on sulfite and is designed to remove oxygen and inhibits corrosion in the boiler. In order to increase the efficiency, this product contains a catalyst that greatly increases the speed of the oxygen removal reaction.
DEOX-3240
This product is based on Carbohydrazide. This product is able to surface the metal surface and by this mechanism is able to prevent corrosion in the boiler.
